Casa Pimpotta is a typical house in the historic center located in one of the most important streets of the city, where there are 2 UNESCO heritage monuments: The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Vitale.

The house has every comfort, it has a small internal courtyard shaded by a purple wisteria where you can use a barbecue breathing the air of the old city, all the windows of the house overlook the ruins of the church of Santa Croce from the fifth century AD.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the "green" room is of considerable size, it is a triple, there are a double and a single bed and a desk for a smart working station. The "yellow" room on the other hand is smaller in size, where you will find a French double bed.

Via Galla Placidia is in a limited traffic area but not far away, a couple of minutes on foot there is a large car park accessible without restrictions, ideal for parking the car and continuing the holiday by walking around the historic center of Ravenna.

It was a pleasure staying at Elena’s home. The location was wonderful walkable to shops, attractions and restaurants. Our time was short in Ravenna but would come back again. Thank you Elena for being a great host.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche im Casa Pimpotta.Günstiger Parkplatz 3 Minuten entfernt. Das Haus selbst liegt in der ZTL, deshalb haben wir immer auf dem Parkplatz Torre Umbratica geparkt.Vom Haus selbst haben wir in Ravenna alles zu Fuß erledigt.In der Nähe findet man Lebensmittelgeschäfte, schöne Cafés und Restaurants.Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet: es ist ein altes Haus, aber sehr schön renoviert.Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.Strände in der Nähe ca. 20 min. Entfernt.Herzlichen Dank, Elena wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ho alloggiato presso Casa Pimpotta nel ponte del 2 giugno. Casa molto accogliente, pulita e posizione ottima sia rispetto al centro che al parcheggio Giustiniano, ampio e comodo per raggiungere il centro. Appartamento con camere ampie, Elena è stata molto gentile a fornire le indicazioni. Terrò presente questo alloggio per una futura visita a Ravenna.

La posizione della casa é ottima: facile da trovare, a ridosso di un comodo ed economico parcheggio, posizione centrale che permette di visitare i siti più importanti di Ravenna (Galla Placidia è praticamente una “vicina di casa”), i negozi, i bar, i ristoranti ecc.. All’interno è spaziosa, curata, raffinata. Pulizia al top! Ad alcune mie domande all’host Elena non ho avuto risposta e così non ho potuto utilizzare la macchina del caffè perché non sapevo quali cialde o capsule utilizzare (ne ho comprate un pacchetto di “universali”ma non andavano bene), c’era solo lo zucchero di canna (poco) e mancava l’olio. In compenso ottime tisane e fornita di tutto. La consiglio vivamente e ci tornerei sicuramente!
